Satellite dishes cannot be installed on the roof of any Carolina Moves property. A satellite pole can be secured into the exterior ground of a property. However, each property has different requirements based on the HOA of the community or the owner.
No. Carolina Moves does not permit smoking or vaping of any kind in any of our rental properties or anywhere on the rental property grounds.
No alterations can be made to a Carolina Moves rental property without express written permission from Carolina Moves Property Management. If you have a modification request, please make a request through your Tenant Portal to receive written consent. Once your request is received, we will review it with the owner(s) of the property and get back with you as soon as possible.
No. Carolina Moves does not allow subleasing of any part of our rental properties as outlined in your Carolina Moves Residential Rental Agreement. If you need to terminate your lease agreement, you can provide notice to end on this website at "Notice to Vacate" located under the Tenants tab.
60 days written notice prior to your lease ending is required by your lease agreement, unless specifically stated otherwise.

No, all carpet cleaning must be performed by a recognized carpet cleaning professional and a copy of the paid invoice must be presented to Carolina Moves.
We understand that emergency situations happen and we are happy to help you terminate your lease agreement, if that is absolutely necessary. Please review your lease for the information, requirements, and charges when a lease break is necessary. Written notice can be provided within your Tenant Portal when providing a notice to vacate.
In the event that you wish to terminate your lease early, you must notify Carolina Moves. You will be responsible for rent for the entire lease term unless Carolina Moves is able to secure a new lease with a qualified applicant. If Carolina Moves can secure a new lease with a qualified applicant, then you will be relieved from your rental obligation as of the date that the new lease starts. Please review your lease about early lease termination requirements, and fees. You can end your lease on this website at "Notice to Vacate" located under the Tenants tab.
All persons having signed the rental agreement are equally responsible and obligated for the fulfillment of the terms of the rental agreement. An out-going roommate may apply to leave the rental agreement but cannot do so without written consent from Carolina Moves and all lease signatories. No portion of the security deposit monies will be released by Carolina Moves until after the tenancy has ended and the rental property is surrendered to Carolina Moves. Thereafter, the remaining deposit will be distributed to the remaining tenants on the lease agreement.
Carolina Moves Property Management wishes to respect the privacy of all of their tenants. However, Carolina Moves reserves the right to enter the dwelling with the consent of the tenant to inspect, make repairs, alterations, improvements, supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective tenants or purchasers, lenders or contractors. The tenant cannot unreasonably deny or prevent Carolina Moves Property Management or their agents from entering for these purposes. Carolina Moves or their agents may enter the rental unit without the consent of the tenant in cases of emergency, including, but not limited to, a change in weather conditions which could pose a likelihood of danger to the property. Carolina Moves will give 24hrs. advance notice and may enter without the consent of the tenant between 9am and 6pm for the purposes of providing regular periodic inspections. In emergency scenarios where safety is concerned this timeline may not apply. Carolina Moves and its vendors may enter between 8am and 8pm for the purposes of providing services requested by the tenant.
